Mimi's Bridal Boutique is a family-owned bridal shop in Ann Arbor, Michigan, founded in 2000 by Yvette Mikho and named after her youngest daughter. For more than 25 years, our team has helped brides across Washtenaw County and Southeast Michigan find their wedding dress, then tailored it to fit through our on-site alterations program. We are an appointment-only boutique on Washtenaw Avenue, minutes from US-23 and I-94.

Every appointment at Mimi's is 90 minutes with a dedicated bridal stylist. We carry more than 250 designer wedding dresses in-stock across a range of silhouettes, sizes, and price points, including a curated selection of plus size wedding gowns. Brides try on the styles they're drawn to, and leave with a clear sense of direction — whether they say yes the same day or come back for a second look.
Our designer roster includes Allure Bridals, Allure Couture, Allure Limited, Abella, Casa Blanca, Chic Nostalgia, Madison James, Maggie Sottero, Rebecca Ingram, Sottero and Midgley, and Wilderly. In-House Bridal Alterations and Custom Tailoring
Mimi's keeps every alteration under one roof. Our on-site team has more than 30 years of combined bridal tailoring experience and handles straps, bodices, hems, bustles, sleeves, lace appliqué, and beadwork directly in the boutique. Brides work with the same alterations team that fitted them at their original appointment, which means continuity from the first try-on to the final pickup. Yvette Mikho's background in jewelry design and women's fashion in Baghdad before opening her Ann Arbor tailoring shop in the 1990s shaped the boutique's approach to fit and finish.
Wedding Dress Preservation, Veils, and Accessories
After the wedding, brides can return for wedding dress cleaning and preservation. The boutique also stocks bridal veils, headpieces, hair accessories, and fine wedding jewelry — many pieces designed by Yvette herself, drawing on her decades as a jewelry designer.
